iWorld upgrade iPod A/V cable |
DENVER (9/13/06) --Wireworld has introduced its new iWorld line
of audio/video cables, designed to provide an improved connection
between portable music and video devices and home A/V equipment.
The line consists of both audio/video and audio-only versions
that are compatible with any device that uses a two or three-conductor
3.5 mm output jack, including iPods or other portable music players,
camcorders, digital cameras, and handheld game systems.
All conductors in the iWorld cables are constructed
with high quality grain-optimized oxygen-free copper (OFC) for
improved signal transfer. Unlike many OEM and aftermarket cables,
which use identical designs for both audio and video runs, the
iWorld cable runs are optimized for signal type. The video portion
of the cable has a true 75-ohm impedance for improved image quality,
while audio cables feature a low-inductance design for excellent
clarity and dynamics.
The iWorld cables are extremely flexible, and
feature durable heavy-duty connectors with 24-karat gold-plated
plugs, and are sold in convenient 1.5-meter lengths. The three-conductor
A/V cable and two-conductor audio-only cable are currently available
at suggested retail prices of $24.95 and $19.95 each, respectively.
Wireworld, which was founded by David Salz in
1992, offers a broad spectrum of very high quality speaker cables,
audio and video interconnects, digital audio interconnects, power
cords, digital A/V cables, and plasma/LCD control cables. The
company has an excellent reputation among audio and home theater
enthusiasts for producing high quality cables based on the use
of objective perceptual testing, patented designs, premium materials,
and exceptional manufacturing quality.
