DENVER (9/5/07) -- Wireworld, which introduced the world's first flat HDMI
cables in 2005, has announced that it is now offering HDMI cables
in half-meter lengths.
Wireworld's flat HDMI cables are highly flexible and easy to
manipulate in tight spaces. By comparison, conventional stiff
HDMI cables can apply excessive twisting torque to the connectors
and jacks, and the slightest disturbance can cause the connector
to pop out. Wireworld's new shorter lengths will make it easier
for custom installers to quickly create reliable, professional
looking. and cost-effective installations without the need to
coil large loops of excess cable.
"There isn't an installer in the world who won't benefit
from our short HDMI cables on nearly every job they do,"
said Wireworld president and founder David Salz. "This is
especially true in tight component racks, where excess cabling
has to be coiled and secured to prevent premature failure and
a sloppy appearance."
New shorter lengths are available in the company's best-selling
Island 52 and upgrade Chroma 52 cable lines at suggested retail
prices of $29.95 and $49.95 each, respectively.
Wireworld, which was founded by Salz in 1992, is the premier
provider of leading edge digital and analog cable technology for
home audio and video. The company has an unmatched reputation
for producing superior cables based on the use of objective perceptual
testing, innovative patented designs, premium materials, and exceptional
manufacturing quality.
