The Vincent Audio KHV-111MK headphone amplifier combines premium solid-state discrete component circuitry with a classic 12AX7 vacuum tube input stage that is ideally matched to the headphone use. Vincent Audio Debuts New SP-331MK Hybrid Vacuum Tube Power Amplifier

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (4/27/10) – Vincent Audio has introduced the new SP-331MK hybrid vacuum tube and solid-state power amplifier that is a performance enhanced version of the company’s popular SP-331 power amplifier.

While the Vincent SP-331, like most modern high-performance power amplifiers, operates in Class AB mode across its power spectrum, the SP-331MK operates in pure Class A mode for signals up to 10 watts output, and Class AB up to its full power rating of 150 Watts into 8 ohms and 300 watts into 4 ohms.

Vincent Audio Introduces SA-31MK Hybrid Vacuum Tube Preamplifier

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (4/27/10) – Vincent Audio has introduced the SA-31MK a higher performing step-up version of its popular SA-31 hybrid solid-state, vacuum tube line-stage preamplifier. The new SA-31MK incorporates new output circuitry with two more vacuum tubes, precision European resistors and capacitors, electronic volume and input controls, two added line inputs, and the addition of a wireless remote control.

The Vincent SA-31MK is clearly much more than just an upgrade of the SA-31’s convenience features. The output stage incorporates a proprietary new design configuration with a short signal path using two 6N16 vacuum tubes that allow a detailed and delicate soundstage. The final output stage is a Pure Class A design using two additional 6N16 tubes. The new SA-31MK has a very substantial power supply with a large toroidal power transformer that ensures all the circuit elements have a rock-steady voltage supply and never lack for current when needed.

Vincent Audio Debuts PHO-8 MC/MM Phono Preamplifier

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (3/30/10) – Vincent Audio has introduced a high quality, affordably priced, two-piece phono preamplifier designed to extract the ultimate sound quality from high end moving coil (MC) and moving magnet (MM) phonograph cartridges. The Vincent Audio PHO-8 phono preamplifier consists of two matching, but separate components -- one a very high quality phono preamplifier section, and the other a physically isolated high performance, low-noise power supply.

When dealing with the vanishingly small signal levels generated by today's high performance moving coil phonograph cartridges, the high-gain signal preamplifier circuits can be extremely vulnerable to noise, especially from the power supply circuits, and this problem is solved by housing the power supply in separate chassis and carefully shield both the power supply and the preamplifier.
