For immediate release:

Las Vegas, January 8, 2002 -- Outlaw Audio, Inc., the leading internet-only consumer electronics brand, is expanding its line of cable and interconnect products with the introduction of its new Pure Silver Video, or PSV, cables and is previewing them for the press at the 2002 International Consumer Electronics Show. Shipments will begin in February.

“Reaction to our initial interconnect products has been well beyond our expectations”, commented the Outlaws. “Based on many requests from the Outlaw community, we realized that there was a need for a high-performance 75 ohm cable that meets the needs of the most demanding component video and digital audio applications at an affordable price. Our PSV cables were specifically designed to meet those needs."

Outlaw PSV cables are a coax design using a solid center conductor of ultra-pure “OCC” silver. The use of silver assures the highest conductivity, while the OCC process uses patented techniques to remove oxygen from the refined silver. Previously available only on high priced cables, the Outlaw PSV is the first cable product to bring the benefits of silver to the value conscious home theater enthusiast.

In addition to the use of an OCC silver center conductor, the PSV’s attention to quality is seen in the use of a dual-shield system with a tightly woven copper braid and copper/Mylar foil providing immunity from RFI/EMI interference. Completing the package, PSV cables use specially designed RCA connectors optimized for the 75-ohm connections used in video and S-P/DIF connections.

Thanks to an inner nylon mesh covering with a distinctive yellow color stripe, PSV cables are instantly recognizable as video cables, while using the same clear outer jacket as Outlaw’s PCA audio cables for a unified system appearance.
The PSV cables join Outlaw’s highly regarded PCA analog audio cables and PDO optical digital interconnects, both of which are currently available.

Outlaw Audio PSV cables will be available in February in 0.5 meter. 1.2 meter and 1.8 meter lengths at $29.95, $39.95 and $49.95 respectively though the Outlaw web site

Privately owned Outlaw Audio designs and markets their own line of high-performance, high-value consumer electronics products and markets them exclusively via the Internet from their web site. By spring, their complete line of home theater components will consist of two power amplifiers, an internet tuner, 7.1-channel AV processor, 6.1-channel AV receiver, integrated bass manager, and analog and digital interconnect cables. The recipient of major awards and “Recommended Component” ratings from major publications, Outlaw’s products are highly regarded by audiophiles around the world.
