Outlaw Audio, the leading direct-to-consumer Internet electronics brand, has introduced the Model 7125, a seven-channel, 125-watts-per-channel home theater power amplifier that delivers all the amplification necessary to compliment today's latest 6.1 and 7.1 channel surround processors, such as the recently introduced Outlaw Audio Model 990. Like all Outlaw Audio products, it can be purchased only at The Model 7125 replaces their highly acclaimed 100–watts–per-channel Model 7100.

"The Model 7125 is a worthy heir to the Model 7100, providing a solid performer for enthusiasts with demanding sonic requirements and moderate budgets," said an Outlaw spokesman. "These are true 'all channels driven' power specs, with THD at less than 0.05 percent from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Outlaw watts are 'real watts,' up to the task of delivering all the punch you need when playing a challenging movie soundtrack or musical performance. Demanding speaker loads? Wide dynamic range on all channels? We say 'bring 'em on.'"

Designed and built in the United States, the Model 7125 uses the highest quality parts and a modular configuration. Each channel features six discrete output devices and 20,000 microfarads of total filter capacitance. The unit's high current power supply is driven by a 1.6 kVA toroidal transformer with two separate windings for each channel, ensuring there is more than enough current available for even the most demanding transients and special effects.

Individual heatsinks provide cooling for each amplifier module, eliminating the need for noisy cooling fans. In addition, the amplifier is protected against excessive heat and over-current conditions by separate Opto-coupled protection circuits for each channel. A low-voltage trigger input is provided to integrate with products that include this feature, such as Outlaw's Model 990 preamplifier/processor.

The Outlaw Model 7125 power amplifier is available solely through Outlaw's Hideout at at a cost of $999. Special combo pricing is available when purchased as a package with the Model 990.

Privately owned Outlaw Audio designs their own line of high-performance, high-value consumer electronics products and markets them exclusively via the Internet from their website. The recipient of numerous major awards and "Recommended Component" ratings from major publications, Outlaw's products are widely regarded by audiophiles around the world.
