a 5.1-channel progressive scan DVD receiver that delivers high quality
home theater in one compact, easy-to-use, integrated component. Compatible
with DVD, CD, CD-R/RW, VCD, and MP3 encoded CD-Rs, it can be matched with
any of today's popular 5.1-channel speaker packages and a video display
to create a complete entertainment system that is perfect for the bedroom,
basement, or summer home.
The DSR-7.3 features progressive-scan component video as well as parallel
S-video and composite outputs for connecting multiple displays. Built-in
Dolby Digital, Dolby ProLogic II and DTS decoders deliver clear multichannel
audio regardless of the software encoding, delivering dynamic sound effects
and a multichannel soundstage that puts the viewer in the movie.
Color-coded terminals and intuitive organization make setup and operation
of the DSR-7.3 simple and fast. The receiver includes digital input and
output jacks, and RCA connections for 2 additional audio components, such
as a portable player, making it an ideal entertainment system centerpiece.
The unit delivers 5 x 25 Watts into 6-Ohms, and also features a built-in
FM/AM tuner with 30 presets.
The DSR-7.3 is currently available at a suggested retail price of $600.
