DENVER (09/13/06) – Integra has introduced the new DPS-6.7, a multiformat DVD-Audio & SACD player that features HDMI video output, including video upscaling to 1080i or 720p for single-cable connection to A/V receivers and high definition video displays. Designed specifically with the needs of custom installation professionals in mind, the player delivers superior audio and video performance, as well as an impressive array of custom installation features for seamless integration with home theater equipment and whole-home control systems.

The DPS-6.7 features premium 108 MHz/14-bit video processing and a high quality internal deinterlacer/scaler that enables it to output video from conventional DVDs at resolutions of 480p, 720p, or 1080i via its rear-panel HDMI output. Additionally, the player includes both RCA and BNC component video outputs, as well as two sets of S-Video and Composite Video outputs for compatibility with any home theater display.

For audio reproduction, the DPS-6.7 features 192 kHz/24-bit linear PCM audio DACs coupled with the company’s exclusive Vector Linear Shaping Circuit (VLSC) for smoother and more linear analog output. It also includes Integra’s enhanced Direct Digital Path to ensure maximum fidelity of audio information delivered to the digital output jacks.

Like all Integra products, the DPS-6.7 was designed for use in large home theater and whole-house audio/video installations, and includes features such as rear-panel bidirectional RS-232 port and IR in/out jacks for easy integration with home theater equipment and whole-home control systems.

The Integra DPS-6.7 will be available in October at a suggested retail price of $500.
