Integra Debuts Fall AV Lineup with 9.2-Channel Network AV Receivers and Preamp/Processors Engineered for Custom Installers and Systems Integrators

CEDIA EXPO 2009, ATLANTA (9/8/09) – Integra, the first company to offer AV receivers specifically for custom installation, will unveil its new lineup of home theater receivers and preamplifier/processors at the 2009 CEDIA Expo, opening here tomorrow. The four new network-capable A/V receivers and two preamplifier/processors include Integra's first 9.2-channel audio systems for the ultimate in home theater sound or expanded multi-room capabilities for custom installers and systems integrators.

These THX certified systems include Audyssey DSX and Dolby ProLogic IIz soundstage expansion technologies, ISF certified calibration controls, and up to eight HDMI 1.3a inputs for maximum video connectivity. All six models have advanced networking capabilities for streaming content from Pandora, Rhapsody, vTuner, and Sirius Internet Radio services. All these models are compatible with Windows 7 and are certified with DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) version 1.5,  ensuring optimal compatibility with other network-enabled equipment throughout the home. Finally, all models but the DTR-40.1 receiver also include USB connectivity, further increasing the streaming audio options from either personal computers or USB-enabled portable devices.

Integra has introduced two mid-priced audio-video receivers designed to provide state-of-the-art home theater performance plus sophisticated integration with home automation systems. The new Integra DTR-30.1 and DTR-20.1 are, respectively, 7.2- and 5.2-channel, two-zone AV receivers designed for modern high-definition audio and video systems. In addition, the DTR-30.1 is the first Integra A/V receiver that incorporates the new Dolby ProLogic IIz which lets installers offer their clients engaging sonic ambience in three dimensions, not just two.

Both receivers use the latest HDMI 1.3a connection technologies with full support for 1080p video, Deep Color, x.v. Color, and high definition sound via Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The Integra DTR-30.1 has six HDMI inputs, including a front-panel input, while the DTR-20.1 has four HDMI inputs. The DTR-30.1 also features Faroudja DCDi Edge™ based upscaling of all video sources to 1080i via the HDMI output. These receivers each deliver 90 Watts per channel of amplification into 8 Ohms, and include processing for every major digital audio format in use today, as well as a full suite of audio technologies from Audyssey.

DTA-9.4 "Pure Digital" Power Amplifier

The seven-channel Integra DTA-9.4 power amplifier is the company’s first digital and first multichannel home theater power amplifier, providing exceptional sound quality both through Integra's exclusive digital technology, and by maintaining optimal power linearity across the full impedance range of modern loudspeakers. It is capable of delivering 120 Watts into seven channels at 8 Ohms, and perfectly doubles that power for 4 Ohm loads, delivering 240 Watts per channel.

Designed specifically for multichannel home theater, the DTA-9.4's unique digital design gives it an operating efficiency of 90%, more than twice that of conventional class AB amplifiers, while at the same time having a smaller “footprint.” It also marks the first implementation of Integra's Vector Linear PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology, which combines an advanced digital switching topology with sophisticated shaping circuitry for remarkably detailed and efficient audio amplification.
