Gordon Sell Public Relations was founded
in 1988 to provide technology-oriented publicity services, focusing particularly on enthusiast and trade press outlets.
Our job is to encourage the press to write

Gordon Sell --
- The agency's president offers a rare
combination of experience in electronics, journalism, and public relations.
- Eight years of experience as a writer
and editor, including five years as the technical editor of Stereo Review, and three years as technical editor of Elementary
Electronics editing articles
on computers, do-it-yourself electronic circuits, ham radio, computers,
and two years as managing editor of Yacht Racing magazine.
- Education: BA in Journalism from New
York University.
- Technical Experience: Three years as
a helicopter avionics technician in the US Army; two years as an offshore
navigation technician in seismic exploration; and graduate-level courses
in Communications Electronics at NYU.
- Continuous participation in high technology
and consumer electronics public relations since 1986. Has achieved outstanding
placements at every level of media, from industry specific trade magazines
to national radio and television.
- In his spare time, Gordon has can be found sailing (and maintaining...) his 19 foot Flying Scot. He has been actively racing, teaching, and writing about sailing for longer than he cares to admit.
Raney Nelson --
- Public Relations Account Executive with GSPR since 2001.
- Prior Experience: L.G. Zangani, LLC working
in investor relations, public relations, and SEC training. He has also worked as a technical trainer in electronics, physics, and
computer hardware and software.
- Portland State University: Major: Physics
with additional focus on linguistics (Semiotics), philosophy of science,
and technical writing.
- U.S. Navy: Qualified Reactor Operator and Nuclear
Plant Electronics Technician. Served aboard the attack submarine USS
Honolulu (SSN 718).
- Raney is an avid woodworker, and spends far too much time collecting and refurbishing vintage tools.
