FRANCISCO (1/17/08) -- Blaupunkt Professional Systems will be
showing its complete range of audio, video, and navigation solutions
for the motorcoach industry at the 2008 UMA Motorcoach Expo in
San Francisco this week. Highlights of the newly revised lineup
include completely integrated passenger infotainment systems,
as well as innovative monitors and cameras designed specifically
for use in large buses.
Blaupunkt passenger entertainment systems are completely modular,
allowing for flexible system designs to suit nearly any vehicle
and passenger profile. With selectable source switching, passengers
can watch movies, listen to music, or access navigation system
display information all at the touch of a button. The company
will introduce a complete range of fixed and swivel displays,
including a 19-inch LCD model
with DVI interface and an innovative soft-release flip-down mount
for large format overhead display that is safer for passengers.
The company will also introduce a modular line of interior and
rear-view cameras
and switching/selector modules to accommodate the needs of even
the largest coach systems. A wide range of audio, video, and navigation
source units, as well as intuitive system controllers offers increased
entertainment options to passengers, and improved safety for drivers
and passengers alike.
