| SAN FRANCISCO (1/17/08) -- Blaupunkt Professional
Systems introduced a complete line of modular camera systems,
including a unique rear-view camera that features multiple viewing
options selectable directly from the cockpit.
Motorcoach operators are often subject to extremely limited
views around the vehicle, especially when driving in reverse gear.
While there are a wide range of rear-view camera systems available,
it is often difficult to arrange a single camera to accommodate
the variety of circumstances these coaches often experience. Blaupunkt
Professional systems has established an innovative solution to
this problem with a multi-view camera system that can be selected
to reproduce both 90 and 180 degree viewing angles at the touch
of a button from the drivers cockpit. The camera is also selectable
for mirrored or standard views, making it easier for drivers to
interpret and correctly navigate safely and efficiently in nearly
any situation.
Like all Blaupunkt Professional Systems rear-view cameras, the
new models are equipped with weatherproof enclosures and are based
on modular platform that can be adapted to the specific neds of
nearly any vehicle and application. The exceptionally small cameras
can be mounted in almost any location, both internally and externally,
and accessed by the driver at the touch of a button.
