BROADVIEW, IL 10/15/03 – The Blaupunkt Division of Robert Bosch today announced the launch of Blaupunkt Professional Systems, a new sales group that will offer 24-volt audio, video, and navigation components to manufacturers and operators of modern motor coaches and other commercial vehicles in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.

Blaupunkt Professional Systems has also announced immediate availability of a broad line of 24-volt audio, video, and navigation products. These products address a growing niche for 24-volt systems, which provide higher performance and greater reliability than can be achieved with the modified 12-volt car systems currently sold into this market. Blaupunkt is the only company developing and manufacturing a full line of 24 Volt audio, video, and navigation systems worldwide.

Blaupunkt has been manufacturing audio and video systems for buses and coaches for over 25 years, and navigation systems for 15 years. These products and technologies are thoroughly tested in the lab and on the road. The 24-volt systems offer inherently higher performance and efficiency, with much higher output power and lower operating temperatures than 12-volt systems.
