Blaupunkt Debuts Innovative 19-inch LCD Monitor 2008 UMA Motorcoach Expo SAN FRANCISCO (1/17/08) -- Blaupunkt Professional Systems will introduce a high-quality 19-inch LCD monitor for the bus and commercial transportation AV systems at the UMA Motorcoach Expo here this week. The unit features an innovative soft knock-back swivel mounting system that reduces damage and injury due to accidental bumps from passengers, and features DVI (Digital Video Interface) compatibility that facilitates multi-monitor installations from a single source. Part of Blaupunkt's complete range of LCD monitors designed specifically for motorcoach information and entertainment systems, the 19-inch monitor allows for a large-format video display without hindering passenger movement in the event of an emergency. Motorcoach operators are often subject to extremely limited views around the vehicle, especially when driving in reverse gear. While there are a wide range of rear-view camera systems available, it is often difficult to arrange a single camera to accommodate the variety of circumstances these coaches often experience. Blaupunkt Professional systems has established an innovative solution to this problem with a multi-view camera system that can be selected to reproduce both 90 and 180 degree viewing angles at the touch of a button from the drivers cockpit. LAS VEGAS (1/07/08) -- Blaupunkt will introduce a broad line of aftermarket car audio products at CES 2008. These will include five new in-dash car audio receivers, two new power amplifiers, and new line of colorful antennas, with most items delivering to dealers in the first quarter of 2008. This new line of car audio receivers consists of
four CD AM/FM receivers and one SD AM/FM receiver with a front-panel
SD card slot in lieu of a CD mechanism. They offer exceptional music
playback capabilities from variety of music sources including MP3 CD-R/RW
players, high-performance AM/FM tuners, auxiliary inputs for the connection

| Blaupunkt, the car electronics division of Robert Bosch corporation, has introduced a pair of high-end car radios designed to function with USB-based storage devices to allow users access to an entire library of digital audio files. The Kingston MP47 and Hamburg MP57 each feature four powerful amplification channels, high quality tuners, and CD transports that include support for CD-based MP3 or WMA files. The Hamburg MP57 also features integrated Bluetooth capability, with an included microsphone, for wireless hands-free cell phone operation. This capability can can be added to the Kingston MP47 with the addition of the company's optional Bluetooth module. For the digital-savvy consumer, the Blaupunkt Kingston MP47 and Hamburg MP57 each feature a rear-panel USB input with included cable, that is intended for use with an external hard-drive or other storage device. This feature lets owners access their entire digital music library from the radios' attractive flip-up removable front panels, or import digital pictures for the full-graphic display of the Hamburg MP57. Both radios include 3.5mm front panel inputs for use with portable music devices, and each is also compatible with the company's optional iPod interface. |

Blaupunkt is now shipping the Melbourne SD27, an attractively-priced car radio that skips the CD player altogether in favor an SD/MMC card slot to accommodate the digital-savvy customer who wants to eliminate discs from their music diet. In addition to the SD/MMC card-slot, the radio's sleek front-panel features a convenient plug and play input for portable audio players as well as controls for the built-in 25-preset AM/FM radio. Finally, the Melbourne is designed for use with Blaupunkt's optional iPod and Bluetooth/USB interface modules to integrate with cell phones, portable players and MP3 storage devices. "For more and more people, compact discs have become obsolete," comments Blaupunkt USA General Manager Lutz Marschall. "They buy their music from the internet, download it to their hard-drive music server, and take it with them on their iPod.
